Employment Opportunities With Port Erin Hotels Welcome to Port Erin Hotels and a wide range of seasonal employment opportunities. Our company is a family-run operation consisting of the 3 Star Port Erin Royal and 2 modern Self Catering Houses plus an in-house tour operator, Goldstar Travel Services. We are based in the South of the Isle of Man, set in the middle of the Irish Sea, between Liverpool and Belfast. We are on Port Erin Promenade, facing a beautiful bay and gently sloping sandy beach. The airport is 5½ miles away and Douglas, the capital of the Island where most of the nightclubs, trendy bars and shopping centre are located, is 15½ miles away. Port Erin is best described as a picturesque, tranquil village with a population of approximately 3,500. It benefits from a variety of local services such as shops, several pubs, a Co-Op, Supermarket, small library and a steam railway line and station. Buses run to and from Douglas approximately every hour with stops along the way at various towns and villages and other less frequent services connect Port Erin to other centres of population. There are many local walks of varying difficulty to explore and these are accessible from our front door. Across the group we can offer a variety of environments in which to work. You will find yourself part of a friendly, hard-working and democratic team of people who are used to accommodating new staff of all types, ages, abilities and backgrounds. We train our staff to achieve their best in a relatively short period. Vacancies are available lasting from 12 weeks to approximately 30 weeks duration. These are in the following departments from basic trainee to supervisor level:

Your department guide will tell you more about your duties, departmental standards and procedures. It also contains a first day survival guide so you will know what to expect on your first day.
